In preparation for the creation of the "Schools pavilion", Philippe Quesne works with the project team of the "Ninth school", composed of students in scenography from the eight French higher education partner schools.
The fourth workshop is an opportunity to put the theme of the island into perspective. During these two days, the students reflect on the political implications of representing the scenography students of France at an international event. They continue to explore the square of five meters by five, which is the space constraint of the Quadrennial, through micro-performances. Finally, they model on paper in A3 format hundreds of possible pavilions, providing a true catalogue of forms. Being eight, they project themselves in the 25 m2 in a thousand and one ways.
